Our Story
Founded by Mario Signorello, the Africa Baseball Project is dedicated to expanding baseball opportunities and supporting youth development across the continent. Through mentorship, leadership training, and community growth, we empower the next generation of athletes both on and off the field.
The Africa Baseball Project (ABP) provides young athletes with essential baseball resources, including shoes, gloves, bats, balls, helmets, uniforms, and other training equipment. Through outreach programs in countries such as Tanzania and Zambia, ABP helps introduce youth to baseball by offering instruction, clinics, mentorship, and access to the equipment they need to participate safely and confidently. These efforts support the development of local players, coaches, and baseball communities while helping transform open spaces into “Fields with Dreams.”
